Correction from previous post-  Worldwide Food Expo– which I touched on last week  isn’t a food show. It’s an equipment show for food processors – so, if you are looking for equipment, packaging, ingredients to process meat, poultry, seafood, dairy or beverages, then you should definitely be there! Thank you Anne for the clarification.

From the LATIMES, a pretty good article about hydrocolloids. Molecular gastronomy at its finest. Deep fried hollandaise?

Don’t store your antioxidants too long. From Healthday. Watch your shelf lives of these.

Win a Bosch Refrigerator from Whole Foods during month long green promotion. From Progressive Grocer.

Also for Progressive Grocer, Mars Snack food is urging U.S. Congress to update National School nutrition standards. From a surprising source but good for them.

We are in the Macaroni and Cheese economy, just with better cheese. From Entrepreneur and article on opening restaurants during a recession.

Chocolate Mousse Peeps-Yea ya heard me. From examiner. For Easter a new chocolatey peepy product.

Thanks everyone,
