Todays food news;

At 100 Days the FDA is still very under staffed and inspects less than 1% of the food items coming into the country. From MSNBC, the environment that the US is currently in has kind of taken up the Presidents time so I do understand. We need to move on this soon.

 Hidden salt is a big issue for people with heart failure trying to make changes in their diets. From Health Day. Salt beware! 

Sprouts are a big danger for salmoella poisoning. Wash them well. From Reuters

A new chocolate innovation center in Wisconsin. From Confectionery, a report on a great new project of chocolate studies and design.

Wednesday Food News-too much salt, European restaurant, Jersey Royal Potatoes

Happy Wednesday!

I am off to an event in Arizona for the Arizona Diamondbacks. It is a fund raiser and is held on the outfield of the stadium. Very fun. Bill Cosby is the talent and I am hanging with Mark Grace, Jimmy Webber, and Kurt Gibson. Jimmy is one of our investors in A Flash in the Pan and has become a good friend. We soft launched yesterday and will full launch here soon. It is workable and please come see. 

Now for todays food news.

From Reuters, Americans are eating way too much salt

European restaurant concepts coming into the US. From Fast Casual,

Jersey Royal Potatoes, best of show? From the Telegraph, an article that praises the Jersey Royal which you can only get in the channel Islands and mainland Britain.

Short today because I am finishing this at the airport waiting for my flight. They just announced they need to change the planes for technical issues. Delay…But glad they are changing the plane. Is this an April Fools?
